Job Description

Crown Auto Group Automotive Service Manager Overview Crown Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead a dealership's Service Department. The Service Manager is responsible for daily service operations, customer satisfaction, technician productivity, employee development, and department profitability. The ideal candidate has dealership experience, strong automotive service knowledge, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Manage daily automotive service department operations, workflow, staffing, and performance. Lead, coach, and develop Service Advisors, Automotive Technicians, and service staff. Monitor customer satisfaction (CSI), technician productivity, repair quality, and service department profitability. Assist with customer concerns, repair estimates, diagnostics, and escalated service issues. Ensure repair orders, warranty claims, and service documentation are accurate and completed on time. Work closely with the Parts Department, Sales Department, and dealership management. Monitor service department goals, labor sales, gross profit, customer retention, and repeat business. Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, dealership policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, increase service revenue, and grow customer retention. Qualifications Previous automotive dealership service experience required; Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager experience preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and dealership service operations. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a service team. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with DMS systems, warranty procedures, and manufacturer service programs is preferred. ASE certification is a plus. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
