Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks on various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Supervise and lead small teams during maintenance projects or repairs. Fabricate necessary components or parts as needed for repairs or improvements. Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and repair of automated systems. Skills Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Leadership capabilities to supervise and guide team members during projects. Proficiency in electrical systems maintenance and repair techniques. Experience in residential painting with an eye for detail. Ability to fabricate parts or components as required for specific tasks.
