What they do
A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

- Salt Waste Processing Facility (SWPF)
- Senior Work Control Planner
- to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS).

- SWPF Senior Work Control Planner
- develops work packages for equipment and/or system modification work to be done by non-union operations staff.
- Responsibilities
- + In accordance with applicable procedures and US Department of Energy (DOE) orders and regulations, prepares, reviews and issues large and/or complex equipment and/or system modification work packages requiring integration and cross-teaming including Assisted Hazard Analysis (AHA) team and facilitating discussions with SMEs.
- Qualifications
- + Bachelor's degree, Associate's, or High School Diploma/GED and practical work experience in work control, E&I/mechanical maintenance, plant operations or related areas Additional Information + Must possess or gain full qualified status within 6 months of entering position
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Ability to obtain site planner qualification card.
