Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical & Mechanical (Bridge Operations) Lead a Team That Keeps Charleston Moving Are you an experienced maintenance leader with a strong electrical background who enjoys solving complex problems and leading skilled technicians? Florida Drawbridges (FDI) , an industry leader in the asset management, operation, and maintenance of movable bridges, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Charleston maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising technicians, planning maintenance activities, ensuring safe operations, and maintaining the reliability of critical transportation infrastructure. Our teams maintain complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems that keep critical transportation assets operating safely and reliably. We offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, opportunities for advancement, and the chance to develop highly specialized skills in a unique industry Primary Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians. Plan, prioritize, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Manage daily maintenance work orders and ensure timely completion. Coordinate emergency repairs and participate in an on-call rotation. Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Coordinate with management, subcontractors, and customers regarding maintenance priorities. Maintain maintenance records, inspections, and documentation. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Required Qualifications 5+ years of maintenance supervisory or maintenance management experience. 5+ years of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience. Strong experience supervising technicians and managing maintenance work orders. Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
