We are seeking highly skilled maintenance professionals and supervisors to join our maintenance operations team in Eastern/Central South Carolina, ensuring high equipment availability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership for industrial maintenance, specifically managing complex electrical and control systems. This role requires a balance of hands-on troubleshooting, team commitment, and proactive strategy implementation to maximize production uptime.

Core Responsibilities Controls & Electrical Expertise:

Serve as the subject matter expert for PLC systems, ladder logic, HMI, and industrial electrical troubleshooting (including VFDs, 3-phase power, and field devices).

Operational Excellence:

Lead preventive maintenance initiatives, manage work order workflows, and implement root cause analysis to resolve recurring equipment failures.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce rigorous adherence to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures, OSHA guidelines, and

NFPA 70E

standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to upgrade systems, optimize maintenance routines, and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications & Experience Technical Proficiency:

Strong background in industrial electricity (high/low voltage, schematics, motors, and controls). Proven capability in PLC troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance. Experience with industrial automation and control devices.

Leadership & Management:

Demonstrated leadership of the maintenance team. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Proven ability to manage and lead a group of maintenance professionals.

Education:

Technical certification or Associate's degree in Electrical/Industrial Technology or equivalent field experience.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication abilities, effective problem-solving skills under pressure, and a proactive approach to team and facility management. Key Technical Requirements Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair control system faults. Ability to interpret and modify industrial electrical schematics. Commitment to maintaining organized and accurate maintenance logs and technical documentation.
