Job Description

A growing property management company is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at one of our apartment communities. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage daily maintenance activities, lead a maintenance team, and ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities Supervise and lead the maintenance team. Schedule and assign daily work orders. Oversee apartment turns to ensure units are move-in ready. Perform and assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and ensure repairs are completed correctly and efficiently. Coordinate preventive maintenance programs. Work with vendors and contractors as needed. Maintain inventory and order maintenance supplies. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, company policies, and local safety regulations. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. Maintain excellent customer service while working with residents and office staff. Minimum Qualifications EPA Section 608 Certification is
REQUIRED.
Minimum of 3 years of apartment maintenance experience. Previous maintenance supervisor or lead maintenance experience preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building maintenance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred. HVAC installation and troubleshooting experience. Experience with property management software such as Yardi is a plus. Ability to train and mentor maintenance technicians.
