Job Description

Heidelberg Materials seeks an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead electrical maintenance for our manufacturing operations within the Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team. In this safety-focused, collaborative, and performance-driven role, you will supervise technicians, plan and execute preventive and corrective electrical work, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and company safety standards. You will drive reliability, optimize asset performance, support capital and improvement projects, and develop your team's technical and leadership capabilities while contributing to sustainable, innovative building materials production. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical maintenance technicians in a 24/7 manufacturing environment Plan, prioritize, and execute preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on plant equipment Ensure strict compliance with safety policies, electrical codes, and
NFPA 70 E
standards Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, controls, and automation issues to minimize downtime Develop and optimize maintenance strategies to improve reliability and asset performance Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Asset Management on capital and improvement projects Maintain accurate records in CMMS and monitor KPIs for maintenance effectiveness Train, coach, and develop technical capabilities of the maintenance team Support sustainability, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives Partner with vendors and contractors for specialized electrical and controls work Required Skills Industrial electrical systems PLC troubleshooting and programming Motor controls and drives (VFDs) Preventive and predictive maintenance Electrical schematics and blueprints NFPA 70 E and electrical safety
CMMS/EAM
systems Root cause failure analysis (RCFA) Maintenance planning and scheduling Team leadership and supervision
