Job Description

Job Description Reviews service requests and assigns to appropriate employee for completion. Complete daily service requests Reviews the returned service request completion report to ensure all assigned service requests have been completed satisfactorily and timely. Establishes and maintains an inventory of parts, materials and supplies determining which items will be stocked and the appropriate amounts and which items will be purchased on an as needed basis. Performs inspections of completed service order assignments to ensure work is performed properly and safely. Record work performed on resident service requests accurately and in detail. Monitors and inspects work performed by contractors to ensure the work is of the desired quality and is performed within the agreed upon time schedule. Certifies the work performed by contractors is property completed prior to payment being issued. Performs maintenance and repairs in areas of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting and other building repairs. Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe working environment.
Education and Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills providing for effective communication with residents, prospects, employees, peers, vendors, owners, etc. Computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and OneSite Basic understanding of Federal, State and local Fair Housing laws. License(s) or Certification(s)
