Responsibilities Lead the 2nd shift maintenance team day to day, balancing preventive maintenance with fast response to breakdowns Assign work orders and make sure the team completes them on schedule Review completed work orders for accuracy and completeness Keep the team motivated and focused on performance goals Coordinate with production supervisors to keep the foundry running smoothly Work with engineering to schedule repairs and projects with minimal downtime Manage spare parts and materials inventory within budget Enforce safe work practices through regular inspections and follow-up Lead by example with hands-on work and direct supervision Track downtime and equipment performance, and drive repairs and improvements Provide technical support for new equipment installations and modifications Oversee outside maintenance contractors and make sure they follow site procedures Conduct monthly facility walkthroughs and create work orders for any issues found Pitch in on hands-on work, including moving heavy equipment safely Replace worn or damaged components such as hoses, wiring, and belts Take on other duties as needed Requirements Strong mechanical and electrical background 7+ years of maintenance leadership in a machining or industrial manufacturing environment Stays current on new maintenance technology and brings cost-saving ideas Solid knowledge of safety regulations and how to apply them on the floor Experience implementing TPM or other reliability-centered maintenance programs Able to lead in a fast-paced foundry environment Communicates openly and effectively with technicians, managers, and contractors Proficient in
