City of Tea Utilities and Street Maintenance Superintendent The City of Tea, SD is seeking a knowledgeable, dependable and hands-on leader to serve as it's next full-time Utilities and Street Maintenance Superintendent. This position oversees the employees and daily operations of the City's Utilities and Street Maintenance Department and is responsible for maintaining critical public infrastructure and community assets. Areas of responsibility include streets, water distribution, sanitary sewer collection, storm sewer infrastructure, parks, public grounds, and City-owned properties. This is a working superintendent position that combines department leadership, project coordination, infrastructure planning, and hands-on fieldwork. Job requires the ability to respond to snow and ice events, utility failures, severe weather, flooding, infrastructure damage, and other emergencies outside normal working hours. Desired Minimum Qualifications; 1) A High School degree or GED 2) Progressively responsible experience in municipal public works, street maintenance, utilities, construction, equipment operation, parks maintenance, facility maintenance, or a closely related field. Municipal experience preferred. 3) Any equivalent combination of education and experience. 4) A valid Drivers License, CDL Preferred. Exempt position. Starting salary is based on qualifications. Salary Range $103,000 to $144,000.
