Job Description
Role:
The Maintenance Manager is a leadership role focused on the continuous operation of high-speed, automated production lines that combine metal coil handling, chemical foam injection, and precision cutting. This position requires a unique blend of mechanical and electrical expertise in roll forming and chemical process safety management. This role will work a day shift schedule in our Mount Pleasant, Tennessee facility. ResponsibilitiesProduction Line Reliability:
Oversee the maintenance of specialized IMP machinery, including decoilers, roll forming mills, foam injection systems (high-pressure pentane or PIR), laminator belts, industrial band saws, and wrappers.Preventive & Predictive Programs:
Implement scheduled lubrication for drive gears, chains, and hydraulic system checks to prevent deterioration of cut edges or panel forming quality. Use analytical and critical thinking skills to identify root causes of reoccurring issues and implement corrective actions.Chemical Process Safety:
Ensure the integrity of chemical storage and delivery systems, managing hazards associated with foaming agents and ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA standards for hazardous materials.Inventory & Vendor Management:
Forecast and order critical spare parts to minimize long-lead-time downtimes.- Lead, train, and manage a team of mechanics and electricians.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in industrial maintenance, ideally with roll forming or chemical processing environments
- Willingness and ability to perform work with the team to accomplish maintenance repairs.
- Technical proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints.
- Proven ability to lead safety programs and conduct audits for compliance with industrial standards.
- Ability to understand and operate Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work with a team, and take direction to achieve a common goal.
Preferences:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a minimum of a two-year technical degree/certification.
- Experience with PSM programs.
- Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal Software.
