Full-Time Snelling Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a manufacturing operation in Bryan, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader who enjoys solving problems, supporting production, and leading a team in a fast-paced plant environment. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance employees on 2nd shift and help ensure equipment, facility systems, and production lines are operating safely and efficiently. This position plays a key role in reducing downtime, supporting preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs, and helping the maintenance team perform at a high level. Key Responsibilities- Lead and support maintenance mechanics, electricians, and technicians on 2nd shift
- Oversee preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs
- Assign work orders and ensure maintenance jobs are completed safely, correctly, and on schedule
- Work closely with production teams to schedule repairs and minimize downtime
- Monitor equipment issues and help identify long-term solutions
- Review planned maintenance jobs for labor, parts, materials, permits, priorities, and timing
- Ensure the right resources and skill sets are assigned to each maintenance task
- Follow up on jobs in progress to monitor quality, safety, progress, and completion
- Train, coach, and mentor maintenance team members
- Maintain accurate records for maintenance work, inventory, parts, and completed work orders
- Communicate equipment concerns, delays, job status, and schedule changes to leadership and production teams
- Support maintenance goals related to safety, equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and overall performance
- Evaluate emergency maintenance needs and determine the appropriate response
- Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous maintenance leadership, lead technician, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, industrial, plant, or production environment preferred
- Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge
- Experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, work orders, and equipment repair
- Ability to lead, coach, and hold team members accountable
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well with maintenance, production, leadership, vendors, and contractors
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance-related systems
- Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, compressed air, boilers, refrigeration, CMMS, TPM, PSM, or RMP is a plus
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing/plant environment.
- 11:00 PM. Some flexibility may be needed for occasional weekends, holidays, or on-call support based on business needs. Compensation Pay is $80,000
- $90,000 annually, depending on experience.
