Primary Responsibilities:
Hands on leadership of 5+ mechanics supporting 75 person facility equipped with multiple types of machinery Directs and assists team members with electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. Maintains inventory and oversees purchases of parts Establishes and adjusts work procedures and schedules to meet company demand Motivate and implement safety procedures, recognition, and accountability Collaborate with departmental managers to meet plant goals Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Collaborates on the root cause analysis of equipment failures and implements fixes. Coordinates preventative maintenance with the production planning staff. Receives and reviews maintenance requests and prioritizes maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources. Inspects equipment regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs. Maintains records and documentation related to equipment and workforce Manages the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors, or subcontractors. Minimum Qualifications for
Consideration Education:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required, Associates preferred. Technical and mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Experience:
