Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance professional to oversee maintenance operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at troubleshooting various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems, including HVAC/R, hydraulics, and high voltage installations. Perform repairs and maintenance on various machinery, forklifts, hoists, utilizing skills in schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge. Operate scissor lifts and other equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies. Requirements Proven experience in a maintenance role with demonstrated leadership abilities. Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and high voltage equipment. Familiarity with schematics and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. Experience in welding is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; certification may be required. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on team collaboration. Military experience is a plus but not required. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
