This position currently oversees one facility with responsibility for two Maintenance Technicians and is expected to expand into a multi-site maintenance leadership role as the company grows.
What You'll DoMaintenance LeadershipLead, coach, and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians.
Plan, prioritize, and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
Manage plant shutdowns, outages, and major equipment repairs.
Oversee contractors and outside service providers.
Develop and manage maintenance budgets and spare parts inventories.
Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.
Reliability and Preventive MaintenanceDevelop and improve preventive maintenance programs.
Implement and manage CMMS systems.
Drive predictive maintenance initiatives including:
Vibration analysisInfrared thermographyOil analysisUltrasound inspectionsElectrical condition monitoringLead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations.
Establish reliability metrics and performance dashboards.
Continuous ImprovementImprove Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Reduce unplanned downtime and maintenance costs.
Increase equipment availability and reliability.
Partner closely with Operations to eliminate production losses.
Support Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and reliability-centered maintenance initiatives.
Safety and ComplianceChampion a zero-incident safety culture.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Lead programs involving:
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)Confined Space EntryHot Work PermitsFall ProtectionElectrical SafetyContractor Safety ManagementConduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Equipment You'll SupportCrushersScreenersPelletizersPneumatic conveying systemsBelt and screw conveyorsDust collection systemsMotors and motor control systemsGearboxes and power transmission equipmentHydraulic and pneumatic systemsPlant utilities and rotating equipmentWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing, aggregates, mining, cement, bulk material handling, carbon products, or other industrial process environments.
Experience managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of rotating equipment, conveyors, crushers, screening systems, and material handling equipment.
Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning.
Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or related technical field.
Multi-site maintenance management experience.
Background in reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
