DOE National Trailer Sales NTS is hiring for the role of Regional Parts & Service Manager. This is a full-time role, based in Decatur, Texas. This role is responsible for driving performance, consistency, and accountability across multiple service departments within National Trailer Source. The Regional Parts & Service Manager serves as a direct leader to Service Managers, a problem-solver for complex operational challenges, and a stabilizing force for locations without dedicated service leadership. This individual will elevate shop performance, improve efficiency, and develop teams to consistently meet NTS standards. This role requires frequent travel to assigned locations to provide hands-on leadership, support teams, and ensure consistent execution of service operations. Why Work at National Trailer Source? Competitive base salary Employer-sponsored health insurance Free Telehealth plan for insurance participants Access to dental, vision, and more auxiliary insurance plans Paid time off and holidays Employee discount at the NRS Store (tack, feed, apparel, boots, home goods, and more) A team-first culture with strong leadership support Opportunity to influence and scale service operations across multiple locations Key Responsibilities The Regional Parts & Service Manager will: Provide direct leadership and support to Service Managers across multiple locations Act as an interim Service Manager for locations without dedicated leadership Drive shop efficiency, productivity, and overall service department performance Analyze reporting, KPIs, and operational data to identify gaps and implement improvements Troubleshoot complex operational and personnel challenges across stores Support hiring, onboarding, and development of service team members Lead and support technician training initiatives, including coordination with the Training Center Standardize processes and ensure consistency across all service departments Improve turnaround times, reduce comebacks, and enhance overall customer experience Conduct regular store visits to assess operations, coach teams, and reinforce expectations Support and guide Service Managers in accountability, leadership development, and team performance Provide leadership for Parts teams to ensure accurate parts sourcing, inventory availability, and timely fulfillment to support service operations Monitor parts processes across locations, identifying gaps in ordering, inventory management, and communication that impact service efficiency Drive customer satisfaction by implementing and monitoring feedback systems, ensuring consistent follow-up and continuous improvement in the service experience What Success Looks Like Service departments consistently meet or exceed efficiency and productivity targets Improvement in technician performance and retention across locations Low comeback rates and quality of work meeting NTS standards Strong, consistent leadership presence across all assigned stores Standardized processes implemented and followed across locations Strong communication and alignment between Parts, Service, and Sales teams Locations without Service Managers remain stable, productive, and well-supported Improve customer satisfaction Candidate Requirements The right candidate for this role must have: Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% to assigned store locations for on-site support, oversight, and leadership A minimum of five years' experience in service operations (RV, trailer, automotive, or similar industry) Proven leadership experience managing teams and/or multiple locations Strong understanding of shop workflow, efficiency metrics, and production management Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable improvements Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong communication and leadership presence Ability to travel regularly between store locations Valid driver's license High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications The right candidate may have the following: Two years' experience in RV, auto, or boat dealership Experience using a Dealer Manager System (DMS) like Motility Prior Service Manager or Regional Manager experience Experience building or improving service department processes Strong coaching and team development skills Ability to step into underperforming environments and quickly create structure High level of ownership, accountability, and urgency Ability to balance operational demands with people development Work Environment This role operates across multiple dealership locations and service shops A combination of on-site outdoor shop environments and administrative work Frequent travel is required to support and oversee assigned locations Fast-paced, hands-on leadership role focused on performance, people, and process improvement Requires strong in-person presence with teams and leadership Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
