What Success Looks Like A property that runs without disruption: Oversee all maintenance operations so residents never have to wait and issues never go unresolved A team that performs: Lead, train, and hold your crew accountable to the highest standards of quality and professionalism Operational excellence: Complete all assigned tasks thoroughly, safely, and in a timely manner Engaged residents: Ensure every repair, inspection, and preventive task is completed with excellence and urgency How You'll Achieve It Oversee and manage all maintenance activities — preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections across the property Ensure timely response and resolution of all work order requests, maintaining high resident satisfaction through best-in-class service Supervise, train, and mentor the LSCRE maintenance team — delegate effectively and hold the team accountable to performance standards Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety procedures Pursue cost-effectiveness by prioritizing in-house repairs Ensure proper inventory management of tools, parts, and supplies at all times Enforce safety policies and procedures and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA standards Conduct regular property inspections and audits to identify potential hazards or compliance issues before they escalate Collaborate with the Community Manager and Director of Maintenance & Construction to ensure operational & budget alignment across the property Be a leader who sets the standard — your attitude, work ethic, and professionalism define the culture of your team Fuel for Your Success Monthly bonus linked to your property's performance Opportunity for career growth Paid Time Off & holiday pay Employee Housing Discount (that increases annually!) Education & Certification Program Requirements:
Prior maintenance experience required
Required Certifications:
EPA Universal Certification required HVAC Must be available for on-call shifts for after-hours property emergencies Proven experience in maintenance operations, team leadership, and facilities management Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, safety compliance, and preventive maintenance practices Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, move furniture, climb ladders and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and outdoor environments for extended periods Ability to follow directions and instructions regarding safety procedures Dependable, detail-oriented, and Strong written and verbal communication skills in English preferred Ready to make a difference?
