Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in construction and repair of structural woodwork and equipment on water and waste water projects, new construction, or at any of the corporate facilities. Inspects work areas to determine the type of work required as well as the materials and equipment to be used on installations and layouts. Provides guidance and direction for the crew regarding projects such as shoveling and probing of areas to maintain or repair. Operates equipment such as a backhoe and ditch diggers, and crew members in proper use and maintenance of such. Reviews assigned job schedules for the crew, and estimate man-hours needed for completion of job assignments. Works with the Field Supervisor to monitor and enforce Safety policies. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Participates in job specific training, and other various required corporate training programs; Complies with federal and state regulations and all established corporate policies and procedures. Other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

A self-starting individual who possesses High School diploma or GED and at least one year prior experience as a Maintenance Crew Helper or a related position. Must possess a current Texas Driver License and be insurable by the Corporation's insurance underwriter. Must be able to read, write, and follow written instructions. Must have good communications skills, in order to effectively present information to employees and management of the Corporation. Must be fluent in English (written and verbal). Basic mathematics skills are required (addition and subtraction of two digit numbers / multiplication and division by tens and hundreds) when calculating for monetary purposes or weight measurement. Must possess good judgment as well as exercise discretion in the performance of daily duties. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. during the workweek and must be on call 24 hours a day.
