Position Summary The Maintenance Technician Lead is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This role also provides leadership and development for maintenance technicians on the assigned shift while supporting preventive maintenance programs that maximize equipment reliability and production uptime. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic equipment Perform and support preventive maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians on the assigned shift Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently to support production goals Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures Complete additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Required Skills & Experience Working knowledge of: 480-Volt, 3-phase electrical systems Motor starters Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Industrial control systems Ability to read and follow written instructions Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications Strong electrical troubleshooting skills Minimum 3 years of electrical maintenance experience Minimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, including preventive maintenance Minimum 5 years of leadership or lead experience in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Experience troubleshooting PLC-based control systems Welding and fabrication experience Texas Journeyman Electrician License Working Conditions This position is based in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
