Position Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor manages day-to-day vehicle maintenance operations at a facility, ensuring equipment, systems, and infrastructure meet safety, compliance, and operational standards. This role involves supervising fleet maintenance technicians, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead fleet maintenance technicians and support staff. Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance tasks for equipment and vehicles. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal disruption. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, projects, and shop supplies. Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; order replacements as needed. Train and mentor team members on proper maintenance procedures and safety practices.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with maintenance management systems and diagnostic tools. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Must pass applicable background checks and safety certifications.

Pay:

$27.00 - $34.00 per hour
