Job Details:
Oversees the maintenance and reliability of all production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient operations. Leads preventive maintenance programs, supervises the maintenance team, ensures OSHA compliance, and provides hands-on technical support to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, including technicians and support personnel. Plan, prioritize, and oversee all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Ensure maximum equipment uptime through effective maintenance planning and execution. Develop and monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, PM compliance, response times, and maintenance costs. Manage maintenance budgets, inventories, spare parts, and vendor relationships. Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize operational disruptions. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and company safety policies. Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures. Support capital improvement projects, equipment installations, facility upgrades, and process improvements. Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment records within the CMMS. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automated manufacturing systems. Experience managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning systems. Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities. Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and manufacturing best practices. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience. Experience with capital project management. PLC troubleshooting experience. Reliability or predictive maintenance certifications are a plus. A proactive approach to equipment reliability and continuous improvement. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
