Cox Automotive seeks a Mechanic Shop Supervisor to lead a team of technicians supporting our automotive remarketing and retail operations. In this hands-on role, you'll oversee diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. You'll manage daily workflow, assign work orders, coordinate parts and vendors, and maintain shop standards. Partner with cross-functional teams, mentor technicians, and drive continuous improvement in a people-first, innovative environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise mechanics, assigning work orders and monitoring performance. Oversee diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure quality and safety standards. Plan and prioritize shop workflow to meet service level and turnaround targets. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies. Coordinate parts ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships. Train and mentor technicians, supporting skill development and certifications. Monitor tool, equipment, and shop condition, arranging repairs or replacements. Collaborate with operations and remarketing teams to support business needs. Track productivity and repair metrics, reporting results to management. Support continuous improvement initiatives across Cox Automotive brands.
