Job Description

Director of Maintenance We're looking for a dependable, motivated Director of Maintenance to join our team and take pride in keeping our community safe, comfortable, and well maintained for the residents we serve. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and taking ownership of their work. As Director of Maintenance, you'll oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the building and grounds while helping create an environment that our residents, families, and employees are proud to call home and work in. What You'll Do Oversee the overall maintenance and upkeep of the facility, equipment, and grounds Perform and coordinate routine repairs and preventative maintenance Respond promptly to maintenance needs throughout the community Help ensure the facility remains safe, clean, functional, and survey-ready Coordinate with vendors and contractors when outside services are needed Maintain appropriate maintenance records, inspections, and documentation Monitor building systems and identify concerns before they become larger problems Work closely with facility leadership and other departments to support daily operations Assist with emergency preparedness and respond to urgent maintenance needs when necessary Lead by example and take pride in the appearance and condition of the community What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of the maintenance department. Previous maintenance experience is important, and experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, senior living, or a similar environment is a plus.
