A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Job Description
Abilities:
Availability to take calls after hours and weekends to assist with coordinating maintenance technician emergency call outs as well as support in plant activities as needed. Be proficient in the use of SAP and Excel to be able to provide lists/spreadsheets for purchase order/cost tracking. Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering specifications, vendor/supplier documentation, piping and instrument diagrams, blueprints, drawings, and procedures. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Capable of making decisions, prioritize workload, and multi-task. Drives responsibilities through to their completion with safety as priority.Key Job Responsibilities:
Tracking and providing updates on progress of day-to-day jobs on the daily maintenance schedule and will report status updates to both Maintenance Supervisor and Superintendent. Assist in leading and participating in weekly/monthly maintenance planning and backlog meetings with operations teams. Provide current updates on projected delivery times of parts on order to aid in the scheduling process. Assist in tracking PM compliance and drive the team to meet compliance goals of 100%. Work with the North American PM coordination team to ensure PMs are assigned appropriately to our equipment or update accordingly. Assist on PM prioritization based on operation needs, type of equipment and task criticality. Assist and lead the planning and execution of smaller plant outages that fall outside of the North American Turn Around Team. The Maintenance Planner is expected to provide leadership and oversee contractors by job walkdowns, follow up through the process and verify the work is completed safely and with quality against expectation. Support the Maintenance Supervisor and Superintendent in the creation and implementation of standardized maintenance work practices and procedures. - Help coach the teams on a consistent basis to adhere to and improve these work processes. Interface with Materials Management and warehousing to create components/parts requisitions, update spares information as needed, create parts list for job plans and stage purchased materials. Work along with the Maintenance Administrative Assistant to keep the maintenance documentation evergreen, update procedures, pull SAP lookaheads and keep track of purchase orders or other SAP transactions. Assist in estimating projected spend/cost estimates for forecasting purposes. Carry out onsite assessments of the resources and equipment necessary to enable the maintenance team to successfully execute the various maintenance activities. This will include liaising with technical and non-technical departments within Air Products and external contractors. Champion the management of change (MOC) process and provide accurate and concise information as required to the operations team. Analyze equipment history to improve reliability and reduce downtime.Minimum Hiring Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years maintenance planning and mechanical craft experience in a chemical plant or refinery environment required. Must have strong interpersonal, leadership and teamwork-oriented skills and be capable of interacting with a diverse team of people with various backgrounds and interests. Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel). Must be able to climb ladders and steps, get on scaffolding and wear PPE such as full body harness. Able to lift 50 lbs. Elevated work required. What's In It forYou:
