POSITION PURPOSE

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for carrying out maintenance operations for the marina. The Maintenance Supervisor s primary responsibility is the quality of the marina facilities. This person has a solid understanding of maintenance allowing for the smooth operation of a marina property and is able to supervise a group of Maintenance Associates to carry out daily duties. The Maintenance Supervisor projects a professional company image through all types of interaction and is able to seamlessly and efficiently operate in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide the highest level of customer and guest services Complete routine facilities inspections, identifying areas for resolution Routinely operate motor and water vehicles as well as other various mechanized equipment Monitor maintenance budget and expenses Assist in the management of relationships with contractors and service providers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Proven experience as a Maintenance Lead or other supervisory role Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment Must have highly effective communication and time management skills Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
