We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planning Technician IV (Planner Analyzer & Measurement) to support a major energy operation focused on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will play a critical part in planning and optimizing maintenance activities for analyzer and measurement equipment, ensuring operational readiness while supporting regulatory compliance and long-term asset performance. WHAT'S THE JOB?
Plan and schedule maintenance activities on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis using
SAP S/4 HANA
Develop and maintain job plans for inspection, testing, repair, and replacement of equipment Coordinate maintenance priorities with operations, engineering, and inspection teams Create and manage work orders, maintenance plans, and asset records within SAP Define work methods, activities, required resources, materials, and execution sequences Review maintenance status and ensure timely completion and closure of work orders Track performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Support reliability improvement efforts through maintenance planning and data analysis Analyze equipment failure data and share findings with engineering teams Collaborate across maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to optimize maintenance intervals Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements Maintain inspection records, certifications, and audit documentation Prepare and review maintenance, inspection, and certification reports Support budget preparation and provide planning-related documentation Conduct training and coaching on maintenance planning and safety best practices Explore and support implementation of digital tools for equipment health monitoring Communicate effectively with contractors, operations personnel, leadership, and cross-functional teams 🎯
WHAT'S NEEDED?
Minimum 10 years of relevant maintenance planning experience High School Diploma or GED required Technical Degree or related education preferred Extensive hands-on experience with
SAP S/4 HANA
Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, and execution processes for analyzer and measurement equipment Experience working with various analyzer and measurement equipment types in industrial facilities Knowledge of maintenance best practices and asset management processes Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar project planning software is a plus Experience planning small to medium-sized projects Knowledge of scaffolding, painting, insulation, fabrication, welding, machining, rigging/lifting, and related maintenance crafts Experience working in a PHMSA-regulated pipeline facility preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to communicate fluently in English Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving performance objectives Current TWIC Card in good standing required Current valid driver's license required 🚀
