Job Summary:

Oversee and optimize daily plant operations, facility maintenance, safety performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role bridges the gap between plant strategy and shop-floor execution by leading production and maintenance teams, driving operational efficiencies, and ensuring manufacturing targets are met safely and reliably.

Direct leadership of Production Supervisors and Maintenance personnel

Leader:

Plant Manager Duties/Responsibilities:

Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team to drive operational excellence Direct daily manufacturing operations to ensure schedule attainment, labor utilization, throughput, and product quality Champion a safety-first culture by leading OSHA compliance, risk assessments, and incident investigations Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Lead engineering initiatives, capital projects, automation efforts, and data-driven process improvements using Lean principles Develop supervisors, manage performance reviews, build succession plans, and foster workforce engagement Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate external contractor activities Monitor and drive key operational KPIs, including TCIR, OEE, scrap rate, PM completion, labor efficiency, and employee retention

Other Requirements:

Strong background in applying engineering principles to manufacturing environments Experience managing cross-functional teams across both production and technical maintenance operations Proven track record in safety leadership and regulatory compliance (OSHA) Hands-on expertise with Lean tools, root-cause analysis, and process optimization Excellent organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering 8+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment 5+ years of experience directly leading production or maintenance organizations Proven success tracking and improving operational KPIs Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build a culture of accountability Hands-on, self-starter mentality with a focus on execution and results What's in it for you Annual base salary range: hourly $97k-131k
