Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance & PTO We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Class A Maintenance Technician who knows apartment maintenance and can hit the ground running. This is not an entry-level maintenance position. We are looking for someone with strong troubleshooting skills who is comfortable completing work orders, apartment make-readies, preventative maintenance, HVAC repairs, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general property repairs. You'll work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to keep the community operating safely, efficiently, and at a high standard. What You'll Do Complete resident work orders quickly, professionally, and correctly Diagnose and repair HVAC issues Troubleshoot plumbing and water-line issues Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs Repair and replace apartment appliances as needed Complete drywall and sheetrock repairs Perform painting, touch-ups, and general unit repairs Assist with flooring and carpet-related work Complete apartment make-readies for incoming residents Repair doors, locks, cabinets, windows, fixtures, lighting, and other apartment components Identify leaks and troubleshoot the source of maintenance issues Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community Assist with pool, grounds, gates, exterior lighting, common areas, and property upkeep Identify and immediately report or correct safety concerns Maintain tools, equipment, parts, and maintenance areas Work closely with the Property Manager to prioritize work orders, make-readies, and property needs Communicate professionally with residents and team members Participate in the property's emergency on-call rotation What We're Looking For 3+ years of apartment/multifamily maintenance experience preferred Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience EPA certification preferred Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general apartment repairs Strong make-ready/turn experience Ability to troubleshoot problems instead of immediately relying on outside vendors Comfortable working independently and as part of a maintenance team Strong sense of urgency and follow-through Dependable and able to manage multiple priorities Good communication and resident-service skills Must have reliable transportation Must have your own basic maintenance tools Must be able to perform the physical requirements of apartment maintenance Must be available for an emergency on-call rotation What Makes Someone Successful Here?
