Duties:
Hire, supervise, and manage the performance of maintenance team members and ensure that all team members follow established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies Coordinates with contractors and venders making sure insurance and licenses are current Conducts regular inspections of all Life Safety Systems including fire extinguishers, sprinkler and alarm systems Maintains inventory control for all general supplies, parts and equipment Manage the department within budgetary guidelines tracking inventory usage and ordering supplies when necessary Understands and implements the role of the department's safety and disaster plan
Qualifications:
2-year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations
