- Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RV Service Manager to lead our automotive service department with energy and enthusiasm.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, and drive the growth of our service business. Your leadership will inspire a team of skilled technicians and service advisors to deliver top-tier RV repairs, maintenance, parts and overland upfitting. Responsibilities Lead and manage the service department team, including technicians, service advisors and parts operation fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee daily operations such as vehicle intake, repair processes, quality control, and service delivery to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies to increase upselling opportunities while maintaining integrity and transparency with customers. Ensure all RV repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications, including diagnostics. Maintain accurate service writing and repair estimating to provide clear communication of repair needs and costs. Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies; coordinate with vendors for timely procurement. Handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining detailed records of all financial activities related to the service department. Promote excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring clients leave satisfied with their experience. Requirements Proven dealership experience with a strong background in RV service management. Extensive knowledge of RV diagnostics, repair procedures, and all systems across various RV types. Hands-on mechanic experience and familiarity with RV repair processes. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team toward achieving departmental goals. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors. Experience in RV estimating and service writing practices.
