Automotive Service Manager Veracity Automotive LLC (dba Integrity 1st Car Pros - Wylie, TX) Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Weekends $50,000-$65,000 Base Salary + Weekly Performance Bonus About the Role Veracity Automotive LLC is looking for an experienced, hands-on Automotive Service Manager to help lead the daily production and quality operations of our growing repair shop. This is not an office-only management position. We are looking for someone who understands automotive repair, can lead and develop technicians, manage workflow, maintain high quality standards, and keep vehicles moving efficiently through the shop. The Service Manager works closely with our Service Advisor and technicians to ensure inspections are thorough, estimates are complete, work is properly dispatched, repairs are completed correctly and on time, and vehicles receive appropriate quality checks before being returned to customers. We are looking for a leader who takes ownership, solves problems, develops people, holds the team accountable, and drives productivity without compromising workmanship, honesty, or customer trust. Compensation $50,000-$65,000 base salary , based on experience and qualifications Weekly performance bonus Opportunity for increased earnings as the shop grows and performs Key Responsibilities Manage daily shop production and workflow from vehicle inspection through completed repair Review technician Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) for quality, completeness, photos, measurements, and clear recommendations Build and verify complete repair estimates, including accurate labor, parts, and warranty information Ensure estimates are complete and ready for customer presentation Dispatch authorized work based on technician skill level, workload, and shop priorities Monitor technician workload, productivity, and repair progress throughout the day Identify and resolve production bottlenecks Coordinate production delays and changes with the Service Advisor Ensure promised completion times are realistic and communicated internally Perform or oversee post-service Quality Assurance inspections before vehicle release Confirm authorized repairs have been completed correctly and the customer's original concern has been addressed Review repair-order documentation for accuracy and completeness Identify, investigate, and help resolve comebacks Coach technicians on workmanship, productivity, DVI quality, documentation, and shop procedures Coordinate parts sourcing necessary to keep jobs moving efficiently Manage parts orders, returns, cores, and warranty-related parts Ensure warranty parts and labor are properly identified and processed Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and professional shop environment Identify technician training and development needs Support the Service Advisor with technical information and repair recommendations when needed Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and operating standards Escalate significant staffing, performance, customer, or operational issues to the General Manager What We're Looking For Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Assistant Service Manager, or experienced Senior Service Advisor Strong automotive repair and maintenance knowledge Strong understanding of repair-shop workflow and technician dispatch Ability to review technician findings and ensure repair estimates are complete and accurate Experience managing technician productivity and shop efficiency Ability to identify and resolve workflow and production problems Strong quality-control mindset with a focus on reducing comebacks Ability to coach, develop, and hold technicians accountable Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Understanding of automotive parts sourcing, returns, cores, and warranty processes Comfortable using automotive shop-management software and Digital Vehicle Inspection systems Ability to work effectively with Service Advisors, technicians, management, vendors, and customers Professional, dependable, punctual, and accountable Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Previous experience managing production in a high-performing independent automotive repair shop Experience with Tekmetric or similar shop-management software ASE certifications or a strong automotive technical background Experience managing and developing automotive technicians Experience with Digital Vehicle Inspections Strong understanding of technician productivity, labor efficiency, and quality-control processes Benefits Competitive $50,000-$65,000 base salary Weekly performance bonus Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance options Paid time off Paid holidays Employee discounts Training and professional development Career advancement opportunities Monday-Friday schedule No weekends About Veracity Automotive LLC Veracity Automotive LLC (dba Integrity 1st Car Pros in Wylie, TX) is a women-owned, family-owned automotive repair shop in Wylie, Texas .
