Full Benefits Package Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Apartment Maintenance Technician to oversee day to day maintenance needs for a multi site apartment community totaling approximately 135 units . This is a hands on lead position for someone who can take ownership of maintenance operations while handling HVAC service, apartment repairs, preventative maintenance, unit turns, and resident work orders. Candidates must have EPA certification and HVAC experience and be comfortable working independently across multiple nearby properties. Responsibilities Complete and oversee resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems Perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general building repairs Complete preventative maintenance and routine property inspections Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including repairs and unit turns Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs Maintain common areas, building systems, and property grounds as needed Coordinate with property management regarding maintenance priorities and larger repairs Maintain accurate records of completed work and repairs Travel between nearby properties as needed Requirements Previous apartment, multifamily, or residential maintenance experience EPA certification required HVAC experience required Strong general maintenance and troubleshooting skills Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and basic carpentry Ability to prioritize work orders and handle maintenance needs independently Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for travel between properties Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of apartment maintenance work Compensation & Benefits $27.00 to $32.00 per hour , depending on experience.
