Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Weekend Shop Foreman to lead our service and repair operations during weekend shifts. This vital role involves overseeing heavy duty repairs & maintenance, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with a variety of equipment, and excellent leadership skills to motivate and coordinate a dynamic team. Duties Supervise weekend shop activities, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance Coordinate daily workflow for technicians, assigning tasks based on skill levels and job priorities Perform diagnostics and repairs on trucks and trailers Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during operations Review schematics, technical manuals, and repair procedures to guide troubleshooting efforts Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service reports for each job Support team development through training on new equipment technologies and repair techniques Requirements Proven dealership or heavy equipment service experience with a strong background in mechanical systems repair Extensive hands-on experience with heavy duty trucks and trailers Proficiency operating heavy duty equipment Knowledge of diagnostics including engine repair (diesel engines), HVAC systems, air brakes, alignment services, and tire service Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with hand tools and power tools for equipment maintenance and repair Excellent leadership skills to manage a team effectively during weekend shifts Valid certifications in heavy equipment operation or automotive repair are preferred but not mandatory Join us as a Weekend Shop Foreman to lead our skilled team in delivering top-tier maintenance services.
