Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefits What You'll Do Complete routine work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Perform preventive, corrective, and general repair maintenance throughout the property. Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs within the scope of your training and experience. Conduct routine checks of equipment, facilities, grounds, and common areas to identify maintenance needs. Follow established preventive maintenance schedules and document completed work. Help maintain buildings, grounds, landscaping, parking areas, and walkways in a clean, safe, and attractive condition. Assist with seasonal maintenance needs, including snow and ice removal where applicable. Monitor and maintain pool chemistry, temperature, and equipment according to applicable standards where applicable. Maintain tools, equipment, maintenance areas, and supplies in a clean and organized condition. Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels of maintenance parts and supplies. Follow established safety, emergency response, and loss-prevention procedures. Communicate professionally with residents, guests, clients, vendors, associates, and property leadership when responding to maintenance needs. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. 0-1 years of maintenance, facilities, construction, property, or related experience preferred. Basic knowledge of maintenance principles, tools, equipment, and repair practices. Interest in developing knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general building systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new maintenance skills. Ability to follow instructions, maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and preventive maintenance schedules. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to identify basic maintenance concerns and determine when additional assistance or specialized service may be needed. Basic computer skills and ability to learn work-order or property-management systems. Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and perform other physical activities associated with property maintenance. Ability to use proper lifting techniques to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds or more, with assistance when appropriate. Must be available to work some weekends and holidays as necessary. You Know You're Successful When… Work orders are completed accurately and on time, preventive maintenance tasks stay on schedule, and the property remains safe, clean, functional, and well maintained. You continue developing your technical skills, identify maintenance concerns before they become larger problems, and provide responsive, professional service to residents, guests, clients, and associates.
