Job Description

We are a large, premier dealer group in the Mid-Atlantic region seeking a high-caliber Service Director to lead our high-volume service department. Strong, visionary leadership is essential for this role, as you will be responsible for inspiring a large team, driving operational excellence, and steering the department toward maximum growth and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Lead the
Team:
Hire, train, and mentor service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
Drive Profitability:
Meet or exceed monthly and annual department sales and gross profit goals.
Manage Operations:
Oversee repair order flow, shop efficiency, and safety standards.
Ensure Customer Satisfaction:
Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
Control Expenses:
Monitor warranty claims, parts usage, and department operating costs.
Qualifications and Requirements Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of automotive service management experience (Service Manager or Director).
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of automotive repair operations and warranty procedures.
Software:
High proficiency with Reynolds & Reynolds (ERA/Ignite) dealership management systems .
License:

$120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
