Job Description

Louisa Health & Rehabilitation Center in Louisa is recruiting for a Maintenance Director for a 90 bed skilled nursing center. The Maintenance Director maintains preventive maintenance schedules using Building Engines, Electronic facility Management system. Repairs physical structures, maintains utility systems of building, and maintains grounds. Supervises support staff and contractors as applicable. Installs, services, and repairs mechanical equipment.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Licensure:
Valid driver's license Experience and/or Pre-requisites Two years' experience in Maintenance in a commercial setting, Healthcare experience preferred. Possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair the above systems. Must be CFC certified in refrigeration Type I minimum within 6 months of hire date. Skills and Abilities Ability to read and write. Ability to accept and exhibit the responsibility to make sound management decisions. Ability to work flexible hours and report to work within 20 minutes for urgent situations. Ability to communicate effectively with all staff, patients, families and visitors. Has ability to communicate, comprehend, understand and write messages, and follow directions.
