Job Description
As the E&I Maintenance Manager, you will serve as the technical and people leader for the Electrical and Instrumentation Department at the Seven Hills paperboard mill. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical, instrumentation, automation, and power distribution systems across the facility. As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, the E&I Maintenance Manager partners closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and corporate resources to drive equipment reliability, improve operational performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position provides leadership for electrical safe work practices, departmental personnel development, capital projects, and maintenance strategies while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and company standards. + Lead and manage the Electrical and Instrumentation Department, + Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for critical electrical and instrumentation assets, including transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, transmitters, and control systems. + Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of electrical, instrumentation, automation, and power distribution issues to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. + Support and lead electrical, controls, and instrumentation aspects of capital projects, equipment installations, and system upgrades. + Design and review electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems associated with capital improvements and system expansions. + Manage departmental budgets, expenditures, inventory, contracts, and procurement activities to ensure effective use of resources. + Develop work schedules, maintenance priorities, and resource plans to support mill objectives and operational requirements. + Maintain maintenance, calibration, work order, material, and equipment records and ensure accurate reporting within maintenance systems. + Provide leadership during emergency response situations involving electrical systems, power outages, and equipment failures. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, productivity, and maintenance effectiveness. + Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, and corporate teams to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives. + Manage on-site contractors and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. + Coach, train, and develop employees while fostering a culture focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence. + Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
_- + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
NFPA-70E
certification. + OSHA 10-Hour and/or OSHA 30-Hour certification.- Experience using AutoCAD.
- Prior paper mill or unionized manufacturing experience.
