We seek a Senior Facilities Planner with immediate availability who can excel in a challenging, process?driven environment. In this role, you support the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Joint Theater Distribution Centers (JTDCs) and related infrastructure across the Pacific region. You ensure JTDCs meet mission?critical requirements for scalability, operational resilience, and support to multi?domain operations in contested and austere environments. You will work in a dynamic, fast?paced setting on infrastructure projects that enable joint force logistics and distribution. The role may require operating in austere or degraded conditions while delivering resilient, scalable facility solutions. This position provides a unique opportunity to directly contribute to mission?critical logistics and sustainment operations throughout the Pacific.

Responsibilities:

Facilities Planning and Design Develop comprehensive facility plans for JTDCs, including site layouts, building structures, utilities, and road networks. Conduct site assessments to evaluate terrain, environmental conditions, and infrastructure needs. Ensure facility designs are scalable, modular, and resilient to support surge conditions and operations in degraded environments. Incorporate interoperability with joint, coalition, and host-nation infrastructure into facility designs. Design facilities to enhance survivability under kinetic, cyber, and environmental threats while minimizing logistics footprint and sustainment burden. Ensure adherence to U.S. Government regulations, theater directives, and host?nation requirements for safety, accessibility, and environmental standards. Construction Oversight Oversee the construction and installation of JTDC facilities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality control and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Monitor construction progress and address any technical or logistical challenges. Maintenance and Sustainment Develop and implement maintenance and sustainment plans to ensure the long-term functionality and reliability of JTDC facilities. Conduct inspections and assessments to identify and address structural or operational deficiencies. Recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance facility performance and mission support. Ensure facilities are optimized for receiving, processing, staging, and distributing cargo and materiel. Collaboration and Coordination Work closely with logisticians, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure facility planning aligns with joint force logistics and distribution objectives. Support the integration of JTDC facilities with theater movement control and transportation assets. Participate in planning meetings and briefings to communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations. Documentation and Reporting Prepare detailed facility plans, reports, and specifications for JTDC projects. Maintain accurate records of project plans, progress, and expenditures. Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of facility planning and construction activities.

Security Clearance:

US Citizenship required; must possess a Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in facility planning, design, and construction, with a focus on supporting large-scale infrastructure projects. Expertise in facility planning and design principles, site layout and infrastructure development. Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D). Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Ability to work in austere and operationally constrained environments. Experience supporting military or government infrastructure projects, particularly in the

USINDOPACOM

area of responsibility (AOR). Good organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
