Job Description

A Richmond-based property management firm is looking for a motivated and customer focused individual who is ready to lead a team in maintaining some of our beautiful historically-renovated downtown apartment communities. Our team is dedicated to preserving the important architectural character of these buildings while providing the best living environment possible for our residents. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing the safety, appearance and maintenance of the apartment community with 130+ apartments. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance or repair on all building systems and ensure the timely completion of our residents' work orders. Inspects and coordinates all work necessary to make apartments ready for our newest residents.
Qualifications:
2-3 years experience in a general maintenance position, experience in apartment maintenance and previous supervisory experience preferred. A successful candidate will have
HVAC/CFC
certification and the ability to work with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall/painting and appliance repairs. Must have your own basic tools. Must be able to work entirely independently. M-F 8:00 to 5:00 with an on-call rotation is required.
