Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a Service Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for a residential community. This role is responsible for ensuring that the property remains safe, well-maintained, and in good working order. The position involves hands-on maintenance work, coordinating daily tasks, and supporting a positive living environment for residents. You will work closely with the Property Manager to support overall community operations, maintain building standards, and resolve maintenance needs efficiently. This role combines technical skills, daily problem-solving, and team leadership. Primary Responsibilities Maintain the appearance and functionality of all buildings, common areas, and grounds. Identify, diagnose, and complete a wide range of repairs, including routine, minor, and major maintenance tasks. Manage work orders to ensure timely and reliable service for residents. Oversee the make-ready process for vacant homes, including inspections and preparation for new residents. Purchase and track maintenance supplies; maintain an organized workspace and equipment. Provide leadership to the maintenance team and maintain professional interactions with residents. Participate in an on-call rotation to support after-hours maintenance needs (on-call compensation provided). Physical Requirements Ability to safely lift and move equipment or materials as needed. Ability to perform tasks that may involve climbing, kneeling, crawling, and other physical activity. Use of various hand tools and maintenance equipment. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all seasons. Ability to navigate all areas of the property as needed for repairs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in general property maintenance, including appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and
