If you are interested in a fun place to work and excellent co-workers this is the path for you. We are owned and operated by a local management company who supports and invests in the building, staff, and residents. The Maintenance Director will schedule and perform skilled technical and preventative maintenance functions in our building and grounds maintenance. They will be responsible for alteration and repair of the facility, flipping resident apartments, following maintenance checklist functions, maintenance procedures, and equipment repairs. The Maintenance Director is responsible for the maintenance of the building, resident apartments, equipment, and grounds. Essential Functions of a
Maintenance Director:
Has a preventive maintenance schedule for the building, equipment, and grounds. Performs installations and repairs. Arranges for and manages contracted repairs, maintenance, and construction services. Conducts and records routine fire evacuations drills and inspects fire and emergency equipment. Inspects the building, furnishings and equipment on a regular for needed repairs. Monitors building and water temperatures and adjusts to meet regulations and safety codes. Changes over resident apartments when vacated and gets them move in ready. Ensures strict adherence to facility fire safety and hazardous chemical procedures, promptly address all unsafe conditions or equipment problems. Ensures that outdoor fences, walking areas and parking lot are clean and in good repair and free of debris. Assists in lifting and transporting heavy objects, including receiving shipments and furniture. Provide transportation for residents in facility bus as needed. Having worked with TELS in a plus Maintenance experience in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing facility is preferred.
