Corporate Manager of Maintenance & Engineering Posted on May 12, 2025 May 12, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a strategic and experienced Corporate Manager of Maintenance and Engineering to lead maintenance operations and engineering initiatives across automated manufacturing facilities. This leadership role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in maintenance management, automation, and cross-functional team leadership. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of management experience in high-volume manufacturing environments such as food, pharmaceutical, automotive, or solar, and a hands-on understanding of engineering and maintenance practices in automated settings. Position Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Oversight Lead and manage maintenance and engineering teams across multiple automated manufacturing sites Develop and implement maintenance strategies that improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime Align departmental goals with overall business objectives to drive operational excellence Maintenance Program Development Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance Evaluate and enhance CMMS utilization and standardize maintenance procedures across locations Monitor KPIs and use data-driven insights to guide improvements Project Management & Engineering Support Manage capital projects and upgrades, ensuring alignment with technical and financial requirements Collaborate with engineering teams to support new installations and process improvements Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations Team Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing maintenance and engineering team Foster collaboration between maintenance, production, and operations teams Serve as the primary liaison between corporate leadership and plant-level maintenance managers Prerequisites Minimum 5 years of management experience in maintenance within an automated manufacturing environment Prior experience in industries such as food, pharmaceutical, automotive, or solar Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills Proven track record of developing and optimizing maintenance systems and teams Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required) Technical certifications in maintenance or engineering disciplines are a plus Project management training or certification is beneficial Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related technical field preferred What the Role Offers Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 annually 20% permanent placement fee Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off, holidays, and opportunities for career advancement The ability to lead impactful initiatives across a growing organization Why Burlington?
