The Service Drive Manager sets the standard for how every one of those interactions goes. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on the advisor team, the guest experience, and the operational discipline that keeps the drive running at its best.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and develop the service advisor team
- coaching daily performance, reviewing repair orders, and ensuring every advisor sets accurate expectations and follows through on every commitment
- Manage drive flow and guest-facing operations
- overseeing write-ups, vehicle check-ins, loaner coordination, and delivery to keep the guest experience smooth from arrival to pickup
- Monitor and drive CSI performance
- identifying patterns, coaching improvement, and holding the team to the hospitality standard Swickard and Toyota expect
- Partner with the shop
- coordinating with technicians and shop leadership to keep repair workflows moving without delays that impact the guest experience
- Handle guest escalations with composure and a solution-first approach
- Support service advisor scheduling, staffing coverage, and onboarding of new advisors
- Track key drive metrics
- advisor productivity, RO counts, hours per RO, comeback rate, and unapproved work
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of service advisor or service drive leadership experience at a franchised dealership
- required
- Toyota, import, or Japanese brand experience a strong plus
- any brand background considered
- Demonstrated CSI performance
- you know what a well-run drive looks like and you've delivered it
- A coaching-first leadership approach
- you develop your advisors rather than managing around them
- Strong operational instincts
- able to manage drive flow, advisor workload, and guest escalations simultaneously without losing composure
- Prior DMS experience preferred
- familiarity with platforms such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, DealerSocket, Tekion, or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
