We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and physical structures within a manufacturing facility. This role will coordinate daily maintenance activities, communicate with production and management, and provide leadership, training, and supervision to the maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, hydraulic, welding, and fabrication skills, along with previous supervisory experience.

Compensation:

$45 per hour

Schedule:

6am-2pm Monday-Friday 4-6 weeks of training 9am-5pm Once training is completed

Kent, Wa Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures Communicate with production and management regarding maintenance issues and plant needs Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify potential problems Organize and plan daily maintenance activities Prepare for scheduled maintenance and coordinate work to minimize production downtime Develop and organize schedules for special projects and preventive maintenance Maintain good housekeeping throughout the maintenance shop and all maintenance areas Ensure adherence to company safety rules and procedures Coordinate and ensure monthly safety meetings are held with all maintenance employees Order parts required for special projects and routine maintenance supplies Listen for unusual machine or equipment sounds and monitor changes in machine operation to identify malfunctions Work with supervisors and maintenance personnel to diagnose equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs Dismantle defective machinery and equipment and install new or repaired components Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery components Train, supervise, and provide guidance to other members of the maintenance team Perform additional maintenance duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Previous supervisor or team lead experience required Knowledge and experience with block production required Strong mechanical, hydraulic, welding, and fabrication skills Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and equipment Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and maintenance scheduling Ability to organize maintenance activities and prioritize work based on production needs Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to train, lead, and supervise maintenance personnel Computer skills preferred Knowledge of PLC systems and controls preferred Ability to communicate effectively with production employees, supervisors, management, and maintenance personnel
