This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, leading a team, improving processes, and supporting a manufacturing environment where quality, safety, and teamwork matter. What You'll Do Lead and support maintenance processes, repair activities, and daily maintenance operations. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machines, facility equipment, and related systems. Plan preventive maintenance work and help identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency. Assign repair work, evaluate repair needs, track maintenance costs, and assist with budget oversight. Document work performed, maintain maintenance logs, and prepare progress reports as needed. Support safe work practices, maintain clean and orderly work areas, and help ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures. Use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, carpentry, and basic machinist skills to support facility needs. Communicate professionally with employees, vendors, coworkers, and management. What We're Looking For Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent education and production maintenance experience preferred. 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred. Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills required. PLC, HVAC, boiler, or furnace experience helpful but not required. Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred but not required. Ability to read instructions, manuals, safety rules, work orders, and procedure documents. Computer literacy and strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead others, support a team-oriented environment, and assist with training when needed. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules based on operational needs. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, handle tools or equipment, and perform repair work. May occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Work may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor climate conditions, and moderate noise levels. Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of education and production maintenance experience. 4+ years of manufacturing experience preferred. Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills required. PLC and HVAC experience preferred. Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred but not required. Boiler experience or Quick Recovery Flat Flame Furnace experience preferred but not required. Computer literacy and proficiency in written and verbal communication required. Communication Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and employees of the organization. Mathematical and Technical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Ability to read and use measuring tools, including tape measures. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively. Problem-Solving and Reasoning Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions. Ability to identify problems and apply practical solutions in standardized situations. Ability to diagnose equipment issues, determine appropriate repairs, and make necessary adjustments. Other Requirements Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and department/plant safety goals. Ability to lead and participate in a team-oriented environment while assisting and training others. Willingness to learn and apply continuous improvement techniques. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and adjusted schedules as operationally required. Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Physical Demands Regularly required to sit or stand and frequently walk. Frequent use of hands for handling, reaching, operating equipment, and performing repair work. Frequently required to talk or hear.
