Job Description
Job Summary
Oversee General Aviation and Airline maintenance operations in Appleton and Oshkosh WI locations
Supervise A&P's, conduct inspections, compliance, scheduling and quality control
Performs maintenance operations to FAA and NewView Technologies standards utilizing maintenance manuals and other documentation
Collaborate with A&P techs and holds team accountable as well as perform repairs according to regulations
Safety conscious
Oversee routine maintenance checks and perform diagnostic tests to identify hydraulic, electrical and mechanical malfunctions
Research ADs, service bulletins and other maintenance related procedures
Inventory and record all aircraft parts, supplies and equipment used for maintenance operations
Hands on leader who will help grow the business by building relationships with airport tenants and customers, identifying new business opportunities and promoting our maintenance capabilities and services
Completion of projects on time and within budget
Directs the workflow of multiple projects
Ensures pre-maintenance and post-maintenance debriefs are performed with team
Provides adequately trained and qualified personnel
Maintains a positive customer service environment
Assists in the completion of work orders and FAA paperwork
Requirements
Must hold a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate under 14 CFR part 65 with IA.
Experience with piston aircraft maintenance and repair station operations strongly desired
Ability to thoroughly troubleshoot beyond the obvious
Ability to operate a computer and navigate maintenance manuals
Detail oriented
Experience with hand and power tools
Ability to sit, stand, kneel, move freely around, inside on top of and under aircraft with repetitive movements of hands, wrists, and fingers, occasionally in confined spaces
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance
Ability to be consistent and precise
Perform daily activities with sense of purpose and ownership
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be available nights and weekends for on-call maintenance
3-5 years in management
3-5 years experience as IA
Proven track record of growth
