About the Role As a Maintenance Planning Coordinator, you will serve as the primary architect for operational reliability by streamlining maintenance workflows and optimizing equipment performance. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing production uptime through strategic scheduling, technical oversight, and the proactive management of preventative maintenance programs. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules that align with production goals while ensuring strict adherence to OSHA and SQF regulatory standards. Oversee the lifecycle of work orders, from initial planning and resource allocation to final audit and documentation. Optimize inventory levels and maintenance expenditures to drive cost-efficiency and operational excellence. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to maintenance staff, guiding them in the diagnosis, repair, and calibration of complex machinery. Coordinate with external contractors and internal leadership to manage large-scale facility repairs and infrastructure projects. Analyze maintenance backlogs to prioritize critical tasks, ensuring that equipment reliability remains a top operational priority. Supervise the installation, assembly, and dismantling of production assets to maintain a high-functioning facility environment. Required Skills Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in maintenance planning or scheduling. 2-4 years of hands-on experience within an industrial maintenance environment. Proven ability to interpret technical manuals and lead mechanical or electrical troubleshooting efforts. Strong organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a high-velocity production setting. Preferred Skills Advanced certification in maintenance management or reliability engineering. Experience utilizing CMMS software to track assets and work order history. Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration between maintenance and production teams. Deep understanding of preventative maintenance methodologies and root cause analysis.
