We are seeking a Maintenance Team Lead who is passionate about operational excellence, solving complex equipment issues, and leading high-performing maintenance teams. Position Overview The Maintenance Team Lead will oversee maintenance operations within a modern, automated bakery production facility. This role will support the reliability of advanced baking and packaging equipment, including automated systems and robotic technology. You will lead a team of 12-15 skilled maintenance technicians , ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, improving maintenance processes, and creating a culture focused on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills along with the ability to mentor and develop a maintenance team.

Maximize equipment uptime and improve maintenance reliability. Promote teamwork, accountability, and employee involvement. Improve Equipment Reliability Utilize Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) practices. Identify recurring equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions. Optimize preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Support Safety & Quality Ensure compliance with OSHA and SQF regulations. Maintain high standards for food safety, quality, and workplace safety. Support a culture focused on continuous improvement. Lead & Develop Your Team Mentor, coach, and support a team of maintenance technicians. Provide technical guidance in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment. Partner with production and other departments to improve facility performance. Key Responsibilities Lead preventative and predictive maintenance programs for bakery production equipment. Oversee maintenance of high-speed packaging lines, mechanical systems, and robotic equipment. Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Coordinate with OEM vendors for specialized equipment support.
Monitor maintenance KPIs including:
Equipment uptime Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) Utilize
CMMS/EAM
software to schedule, track, and complete work orders. Promote a collaborative environment focused on reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency. Qualifications 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food manufacturing. 2+ years of experience in a maintenance leadership role. Strong technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and automated systems. Experience with high-speed packaging equipment. Experience troubleshooting PLC systems.

CMMS/EAM
systems for maintenance planning and work orders. Ability to travel occasionally for training (approximately 1-2 times per year within the U.S. and Canada).
