Job Description

Position Summary Oberlin Filter Company is seeking a motivated and hands-on Maintenance Technician / Coordinator to support manufacturing operations through equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance planning, and communication of production bottlenecks. Essential Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair
  • Perform routine repairs and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment and facility assets.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
  • Coordinate outside contractors when specialized repairs are required.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production recovery efforts. Preventative Maintenance Coordination
  • Maintain and administer the company's preventative maintenance program.
  • Schedule and track PM activities on manufacturing equipment and facility assets.
  • Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and asset histories.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Manufacturing Support
  • Communicate equipment-related bottlenecks and maintenance concerns to production leadership.
  • Assist in prioritizing maintenance activities based on production requirements.
  • Work with manufacturing personnel to improve equipment performance and workflow efficiency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and plant operations. Qualifications
  • Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment independently.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and fabrication practices preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and documentation. Safety Requirements
  • Ability to follow all company Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Ability to work in compliance with
NFPA 70E
electrical safety requirements.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to all applicable company safety policies. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
