Plant Manager Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician Lead to provide hands-on maintenance support for CNC equipment, production machinery, and facility systems while providing day-to-day leadership to the maintenance team. This position will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, prioritize repairs, support employee development, and promote a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor maintenance employees, assign daily priorities, and provide hands-on technical support. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, production equipment, and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Diagnose CNC equipment and controls, including Haas, Fanuc, DMG Mori, and similar systems . Repair or replace motors, sensors, belts, spindles, valves, and other machine components. Maintain facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, compressed air, ventilation, and fire protection. Develop and maintain maintenance SOPs, Work Instructions, service records, and equipment documentation . Track maintenance KPIs, equipment uptime, preventive maintenance completion, and repair performance. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to prioritize equipment repairs and improvements. Maintain spare-parts inventory and enter work orders and inspection information into the ERP system. Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, OSHA, and company safety requirements . Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade-school training preferred. 3-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience , preferably within a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills. Experience servicing CNC equipment; Haas and Brother machine experience is a plus . Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Experience developing SOPs/Work Instructions and tracking maintenance KPIs preferred. Familiarity with CMMS or ERP systems is a plus. Knowledge of LOTO and industrial safety procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Schedule & Benefits Flexible first-shift hours with availability for emergency support during second shift or weekends.
